Valedzrtorian Elliot Wicks Elliot Wlicks, with a grade point average of 3.935 for his four years, was named valedic- torian ol' the class of '58, In the picture above, the books on the right are the text books Elliott has gone through in his school courses. The books on the left signify tl1e 55 extra books he has read lor his classes. Elliott has been active in speech activities taking first place in the local Voice of Dem- ocracy contest two years 1n a row and fourth place in the state contest. He has also taken third place in a state essay contest and has been a member ol the school debate team. Valedictorian and alutatorian Bob Simmons was named salu- tatorian with a grade point aver- age ol' 3.906 for his high school career. Bob has been active in many activities including sports. Dur- ing his l'our years he participated in football, basketball, and base- ball. He was also active in a num- ber ol school clubs. In his senior year he took part in the class play, Our Town. He was a member ol the de- bate team which took third place in the state debate tournament at College ol Puget Sound.
