To aid in seeing productions on the stage better, Congress sponsored the annual magazine drive to raise money lor a new lighting system. Plans were also made to auction oll' the old records that have been accumulating through the years lor the dances. New records are to be purchased alter the sale. Following the old tradition ol' having some ol' the students run the city lor a day, Congress went ahead and carried it out again. A sale-driving week in February was set aside to determine the victorious. The result was the Centralia Alunior college as the winner. As a penalty, some ol the students in Centralia High school put on a program lor them. Friday, May 4. To make better drivers, Sale-Teen was sponsored by Congress. This organization was only lor kids that passed a strict driving test and a safe car test. New lights, new records, good officers, good drivers, and better equipped cars were the results ol' this year's Congress ollicers. 12
