Juniors Pool Talent , Resources .IVXIHIL VIASS HliFlt'I4IRS-Iiow li I'at Stevens, Seereta1'y1 Louise ,Howl-ll, 'l'i'easnrt-i': Wanda Freneh, Song Lgueeni Delmas Lewellyn. Presi- dent. Row 2: liarl Rushmer. Yell King: Dean Marshall, Viet--l'i'n-sitleiit. Mrs. 1'utinan Class Adviser Class play and prom co-starred in the lunior limelight in leature billing as each became a lingering memory to the Forty-Niners. The prom led oll' in early December with a litting theme, lVinter XVonderland. lVhile gay dancers swished and swirled across the lloor. blue silhouetted skiers slid down the caleteria walls at precarious angles and skaters dashed recklessly to and lro across painted ponds. lnterrnission, introduced by the nonette, those nine nymphs ol' notes, singing lVinter XVon- derlandf' saw more dancing as lloy Miller pre- sented a ballet waltz. Vocalization again took the major roles as Sarah Calderon gave lorth with A XVhite Christmas and Arnie Alohnson rendered HI Know XVhy . Next scoop on the junior sundae was the an- nual play The Dally Dillsn. Salted collee, pepper sprinkled llowers and daily exhibitions of St. Vitus dance are brought into action by the Dills against an unwanted stepmother, who counter attacks with hatchet wielding, slimy pythons and deafening gun lire. 'l'he audience roared one moment, gasped with sus- pense the next. Best play in years, voted the Juniors.
