' m! '45'res11x'g,1gg5-Q SENIOR MDTTO USED A9 PROM THEME The '73 Junior-Senior Prom cen- tered around the theme: On the Threshold of a Dream. Main dec- orations consisted of a fountain, a swing that hung from the ceiling and a mural which had the gates of heaven and a staircase leading up to them drawn with pastels. The Juniors engaged the March Hare to play for the dance. Preceding the dance was the banquet for Juniors, Seniors, and faculty sponsors. After the dance everyone went their separate ways: some to the movie and others to various parties. Early the next morning a few of the survivors went to Breakfast at Gas- per's in Kingdom City or Denny's in Columbia . fr 5 37 it if f., f y rt. tsyy ,K Dpmd r fm, .N . !,i,fj'Q 5 Mtn its T . , We i l. SPEECH CLASS COMMENDED FOR The drama department's play for 1973 was Pil- low Talk. Two performances were held: one on the evening of April 12 and a morning performance April 13. Many obstacles and problems occurred this year: for instance, recanvassing the old flats, a snow strom which delayed practices, and a few more to say the least. Patience, determination, and hard work were needed to overcome these. The CENTRALIA FIRESIDE GUARD said, Cer- tainly Mrs. LaRhonda Powers and everyone in the speech classes who contributed should be commended for a job exceptionally well done. 412 I .. v Vicki Simmons as Alma.
