His duties are numerous, and we can all recognize him as being part of the backbone of this college. Dean Calhoon supervises the planning and development of the curriculum, scheduling of instruction, the official academic calen- dar, classroom schedules, and assignment to faculty office space. In the absence of the president, he serves as officer in charge. He presides over faculty meetings, meetings of the Ad- ministrative Council, and over other official events. Dean Calhoon, we know you cannot always give everyone the answers they want to hear, but we appreciate those answers because they are based on fairness, integrity, and genuine concern for the college as a whole. For these and for many more things you do, we want to thank you for always being there when we need you. Your job is tough, but you do it well! For these graduating seniors the recent years had held bright moments, tearful moments, and trying times shared with friends here at CWC. But as they looked ahead, the future was brighter because of the years at CWC. Soon, a new type of life would begin, but they would never forget the horizons they could see because of foundations of Central Wesleyan College. Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Closing — 159 Writing this last page is not my favorite thing to do and it is not easy. It has been a very trying time, and I h learned a lot during the time 1 have been working with the yearbook. It has been fun and quite an experiem also have to thank many people for their help. I want to thank Dr. Laura Vinson for always being there when I needed her and for always being eager to cor ! our grammatical errors. Also, thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Kling for being in charge of our money and taking i that we didn't go over our budget. I also want to thank my wonderful staff. It was great to have such eager and helpful workers. Without them yearbook would not have been possible. Also, thanks to my photographers who took the pictures I needed for never screaming at me when I came for more requests. They are the best! I also want to thank my friends who were always pulling for me and for my fiancee, Mark, who also was ther support me all the time. If it wasn't for the Lord who gave me the strength to carry on and never give up, 1 wo have given up the first week. It was Jesus, while reaching out to me, who helped me and gave me confidenc keep on reaching out to others. My prayer is that this yearbook will be able to touch those around us and tell them about Central Wesle | College.
