Southern Enchantment Homecoming 1985 This year's homecoming was filled with excitement and many new changes. The day began with a volleyball game against Tennessee Temple in which the Lady Warriors won 3 out of 5 matches. A bar- beque lunch was catered for all the visi- tors, alumni, and students. The annual soccer game was the next event. The dif- ference this year was the varsity soccer team played the ole-timers. This team consisted of alumni soccer players who came back to try their athletic ability once more. The ole-timers” came out with an unexpected victory (3-1). Half-time of the soccer game was per- haps the major event. At this point, Dan- ny Holland, Master of Ceremonies, an- nounced that Debbie Holcombe was the new Miss C.W.C. Debbie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Holcombe of Eas- ley, S.C. Debbie is majoring in Business Administration and Physical Education. The title of first runner-up went to Christine Walker, second runner-up to Rhonda Thompson, and third runner-up Dorita Wheeler. Homecoming 17 7
