Fall Work Day Fall workday was a big success. The day was set aside for students, faculty and staff to come together and work to make the Central Wesleyan campus more at- tractive. Students and faculty work hard together to make the campus mote appealing Friends enjoy a combination of work and fun. Dt Dongcll seems to be saying, 'Is there supposed to be water in this cement? Southern Enchantment Homecoming 1985 This year's homecoming was filled with excitement and many new changes. The day began with a volleyball game against Tennessee Temple in which the Lady Warriors won 3 out of 5 matches. A bar- beque lunch was catered for all the visi- tors, alumni, and students. The annual soccer game was the next event. The dif- ference this year was the varsity soccer team played the ole-timers. This team consisted of alumni soccer players who came back to try their athletic ability once more. The ole-timers” came out with an unexpected victory (3-1). Half-time of the soccer game was per- haps the major event. At this point, Dan- ny Holland, Master of Ceremonies, an- nounced that Debbie Holcombe was the new Miss C.W.C. Debbie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Holcombe of Eas- ley, S.C. Debbie is majoring in Business Administration and Physical Education. The title of first runner-up went to Christine Walker, second runner-up to Rhonda Thompson, and third runner-up Dorita Wheeler. Homecoming 17 7
