With this in mind, the science department strives to provide its students with an understanding of scientific, mathematical, and chemi- cal processes, while stressing the role of each in developing the environ- ments ofmen, and with a firm base of knowledge and analytical skills which can merge with experience, hard work, and creativity to form new dimensions of the future. HUIVIANITIES Humanities has always been an important segment of the Central Wesleyan College curriculum. Realiz- ing its role in the fine arts ofour soci- ety, this department's particular ob- jective is to help the student prepare himself fora cultural setting in which he will practice his vocation or pro- fession.
