All those students who are planning to teach must be a member of this organization. The Athletic Council is in charge of arranging and co-ordinating all athletic events. Vinelle Phillips, Butch Mobley, Karla Johnston, Donald Wood, and Hams Gil- strap (not pictured). The Dorm Councils are respon- sible for trying to keep a wholesome and pleasant at- mosphere in the dormitories. They endeavor to make dorm life a pleasurable and happy experience for all. Velon Gray is president of the Men's Dorm Council, and Beth Rankin is president of the Women's Dorm Council. 19

Eddie Hedgepath Proves To lie Capable Student Body President w Acting as the honor council, co-ordinating club activities, building Christmas floats, collecting green stamps for a bus, giving parking tickets, flunking school, being on the blunt end of all criticism, etc. etc. This is the student council of 1963-1964. With president, Eddie Hedgepath, at the head, this organization is truly the center of all student activities. These members of the Stu- dent Council strive hard to make Central Wesleyan a pleasurable as well as a profitable place to live and work.
