DEDICATION Words are inadequate to express our appreciation for the many contributions you have made to the different as- pects of our campus life. Your faithfulness in sponsoring the Foreign Missions Fellowship and the Student Wives Organi- zation has been a constant encouragement to their progress and spirit. Your strength of character and consistent example of the Christian life have been an inspiration and a challenge to us all. Y'ou have given unreservedly of your time—even into the early morning horns—to unravel our problems and to counsel with us. Because you carried a burden of prayer for our individual interests, the load has often been lighter. Your wise instruction and understanding guidance have helped us build our lives according to His blueprint. To you, Mrs. Calhoon, our second mother, we gratefully and lovingly dedicate the 1959 edition of the Centralian.

A L M A M A T E R 1. Oh, Wesleyan College, we love thee. Thy name we sincerely adore. Praise, honor and laud do we give thee, To thee we will sing evermore. On the breast of the wide, surging ocean, In the forest, on mountain and plain, S. Men shall know of our hearts’s true devotion And list to our song of thy fame. And list to our song of thy fame. 2. Oh, Wesleyan College, we love thee, Thy halls and thy campus are dear, May no harm ever come to molest thee. And God always bless thee with cheer. Thou fountain of wisdom and learning, We will drink of thy clear, crystal flood; S. Then out to the great world returning, We will fight for the true and tire good. We will fight for the true and the good. 3. Oh! Wesleyan College, well love thee, When out from thy hall we have gone, Still bright may the skies be above thee, While we up life’s pathway press on, When others our places have taken. And strangers have entered thy door, S. In our mem’ry thou’It ne’er be forsaken And thy praises well sing evermore. And thy praises well sing evermore.
