Our CLOUDS OF MEMORY portray glimpses of the pleosant, carefree moments and the sober, character- building hours spent on College Hill. We endeavor to present to you Wesleyan Methodist College in its truest sense—a Christ-centered institution. As you leaf through these pages, note the intricate, interlocking activities, each aimed at the development of the in- dividual spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically, and aesthetically. Doctor Burns: Often we wonder how one man is able to do so many different kinds of work so well. We marvel at the quiet, undislurbed manner in which you stay at the job- repairing washing machines, regulating furnaces, paying salaries, ordering all kinds of supplies as the Business Manager must; demonstrating and lecturing as a science professor usually does; and leading the College Sunday School as its super- intendent ought. Indeed, this institution would not be what it is today had you not given yourself to it as you have. We want you, Dr. Burns, to feel our appreciation for you, devoted to the cause of Christ and to us young people of Wesleyan Methodist College.
