ITS ONE AIM IS TO GLORIFY GOD AND BLESS I-IUMANITY BY SENDING OUT FROM ITS HALLS MEN AND WOMEN TO LIVE, TEAC!-I, AND PREACH HOLINESS IN EVERY WALK OF LIFE, THE HOLINESS FOR WHICH CENTRAL COLLEGE STANDS IS NOT A SELF-RIGI-ITEOUS, PI-IARISAICAL HOLINESS, NOR IS IT A SENTIMENTAL OR FANATI- CAL HOLINESS. IT IS A HOLINESS OF HEART PURITY THROUGH THE BLOOD, A HOLINESS OF THE BIBLE, IN SHORT THE HOLINESS OF JESUS CHRIST. No higher courage and b1'avery has heen displayed than that exhibited by these heroic pioneers who, through their devotion and labor. founded and preserved for ns the grand heritage of a holiness church. To some of these, whom we have portrayed in this hook, to that host of others whom we cannot portray or mention. and to those noble men and women who are today in the midst of a perverse world. standing nncompromisingly for real Bible holiness. we wish to pay tributeg and as a school we wish to pledge our allegiance and fidelity to the doctrines and standards of holiness as taught in the Bible and set forth by the Wesleyan Methodist Church. Greek and Mathematics In Romans 2:6, 7 we find that God will render to every man according to his deeds: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality. Patient continuance in well doing is the manner by which glory, honor, and immortality are to be sought. In portraying a theme which should be the experience of every person, the student body, and particularly the staff, are doing El splendid piece of work for the perpetuation of the school according to its purpose. It is my hope that every student will ever seek by well doing not only the name of a noble life and a worthy contribution to the school but above this that truc glory and honor which consists in the immortality of eternal life.
