BIND The forty-five piece concert and marching band, undei Cloice E. Meyers, director, presented three concerts on the Campus, and trade three out-of-town trips, one to Yaluma, Toppenish, Wapato, a ' •d Zillah high schools, another to Cle Elum. and the third to the Wenatchee Apple Blossom Festival, where they marched in the parade and presented afternoon concerts. During the year, they have presented three concerts, two of them forming Assembly programs. Solosists with the Orchestra concerts included Wayne S. Hertz, baritone; Walter Bull, organist, and Helen Mason, soprano. During the Sprinj quarter, they made a trip to Yakima to play before the Yakuni Women’s Musical club.

Trtmbla. n CBPPELLfl CHOIR Under the direction of Mr. Hertz, the sixty-voice a oappelU I choir gave several campus concerts, aided in the presentation of I Handel’s oratorio. The Messiah. read the numbers for the Choral I Clinic and made three publicity tours. The first of these was to Pasco, I Krnncwict, and Prosser high schools, with the second to the Apple I Blossom Festival. The third was a tour of Puget Sound cities, with 14 concerts sung in North Bend, Monroe, Snohomish, Everett, Ren- ton, Highline, Tacoma. Puyallup and Sumner. From the choir this year were chosen men’s and women’s glee clubs and octets, a mixed double octet and a male quartet, to aid in program presentation.
