An- other problem the advisor faced was an almost all new staff. She had to teach them how to produce a yearbook. There is no photogra- phy class at C.V. to teach the pho- tographers, and students have to finance the 224 page, 510,000 yearbook by selling ads and year- books. The biggest problem of a yearbook staff is deadlines. They have to turn in 50 pages a month to the yearbook company. The staff had problems meeting deadlines but even under pressure they worked well together though they were not afraid of showing their emotions and feelings. They respected each other as a person and a friend. After working with this staff through a few deadlines, one had to agree this was a working family. The yearbook staff would like to thank Mr. Ashcraft for making this yearbook possible. Without his re- markable photographs, consider- ation, and participation, there would not have been a Talon year- book. Thank you!
