The varsity and J.V. teams won two out of three dual matches and in tournament, Orland 5th out of 16, Red Bluff 4 out of 8, and En- terprise 7 our of 8. In the JV's tourney, Burney 5th out of 18, and six gold medals out of 13 weight classes from 8 schools. Jeff Madison, John Lowell, Arron Bag- naschi and Brent Henderson were individual champions. Coach Rhyne felt the team had a chance of becomming second or third in the season and he said that if all of the wrestlers come back next year, We'll have a tough team! He felt that there has been a good turn-out. There have been fifty or so turn-out for wrestling, or as Coach Rhyne puts it, The best turn out in the league. There were only two seniors on the team. Coach Rhyne thought that with a year of experience, in the next year a person could be better, more outgoing, and just a better wrestler. He used Anderson High School as an example. Most of its team from last year were back at it again, and they proved a tough team to beat. Our squad re- ceived a second place finish with three gold medals to John Lowell, Arron Bagnaschi, and Danny lde. Y' -nv ,,....snh0' if T , ,g,3g.. N ,
