X im.,-t .E 5: Nj ' p s off ' Nw? A,A, s . if ke Everybody On The Line . . . Everybody on the line is a common phrase to J.V. basketball Coach Brous- seau. It means it's time to run. Coach Brousseau planned to use speed and execution as a major fac- tor in his strategy. Injur- ies, substitutions for those injuries, and players not showing up for practice are the problems coaches have to put up with in be- ing a basketball coach, but that didnlt bother him, he said, It's all part of the game. Coach Brousseau is proud of be- ing the coach of C.V. A graduate of Shasta High, he says, C.V. was always thought of as the easy team. l don't like to make long range goals, because you intend to for- get the game your playing in. The one goal l would like to accomplish is to disprove the theory that C.V. is an easy team. 1. Todd Snoeyenbos shoots a freethrow in the basketball game at Shasta. 2. Gary Robinson sends ball airborne to- wards the net. 3. Bill Schoniger takes a baseline jumpshot in the Red Bluff. 4. Dave McOmber and Darren Masingale eludes the defender, 5. Ben DeMercurio shooting over Spartan defender.
