Winter Concert 8: Caroling Created Holiday Spirit. The Winter Concert was performed on Dec. 17. Talon Hall was filled to maximum capacity with parents, visi- tors, and fellow students. Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band, and Show Choir Occupella, directed by Mr. Tucker, presented the following pro- gram: Concert Band: A Christmas Festi- val, selections from The Nutcracker , and a medley from Sgt Pepper's Lone- ly Hearts' Club Band. Jazz Ensemble: Don't Look Backu, Just the Way You Are, T.J.'s Boogie , and In The Mood. Show Choir toccupellal: What Child ls This , Lo How A Rose Er' Blooming , Do You Hear What I Hearn, Jazz Gloria , and We Wish You A Merry Christmas . Show Choir: 1. Brett Marymee, Buddie McKenzie, and John Lowell caroling at Beverly Manor Convales- cent home. 2. CSF and Music Dept. caroling a Crestwood Convalescent Home. 3. Mr. Tucker conducts the Jazz Band during the Winter Concert. 4. Roger Kleven, Anthony Tavolazzi, Tony Kern, Vaughn Ritchie, Jesse Miller, Pat Mar- tinez, and Eric Cassano perform in the Jazz Band while the Swing Choir waits patiently. On Dec. 15, CSF, Mr. Ashcraft, The Music Dept., and Mr. Tucker with his guitar caroled at Beverly Manor Conva- lescent Home, Memorial Hospital, and Crestwood Convalescent Home. The people were friendly and all joined in as a family at the homes we visited. At Memorial, we all split up and sang in the corridors of the hospital to the ill unable to have a Christmas at home. Afterwards, the carolers all met fo hot chocolate and cookies in Talon Hall Everyone felt it was fun and all had 2. good time, although some came away from the experience feeling sympathy and sadness for the elderly and sick. 5. Swing Choir performs Ease On Down Thi Road . 6. A 1980's Winter Concert Program cover. 7. Swing choir performs Fire 8a Rain . 8. Tammy Goddard and Eric Murray play the saxaphone in full swing. 9. Brett Marymee, Sherry Ferguson, Katrina Myles, Alice Romero, and Lynne Starr help spread good cheer to an elderly woman at Beverly Manor Convalescent Home.
