N551 l 5 T g Q 6 if si J ,XV L ' X gi-5 'll , si J Q 'Und Skins' if Rallies Juniors led the student body in Spirit! The class of 82 displayed out- standing spirit throughout the foot- ball season rallies and won the Megaphone at the last football ral- ly for winning the most competi- tion yells. The rallies were events that brought the student body much closer by raising their spirit for the school and the coming night's game. The Football Spirit Squad demon- strated their acting abilities along with cheering, when they dressed as football players and faked a game to show how we would be victorious that night. They led var- ious games for the student body, such as pyramid building and see- ing which class could dress the fas- test blindfolded. At the end of the football season they presented a slide show dedicated to the foot- ball players of the season just played, and it brought tears to some players eyes as they listened to The Way We Were. The first basketball rally was held on the Friday during the Harlan Carter Tournament which was hosted by Central Valley. Basket- ball players and cheerleaders were introduced and the crowd was taught new chants for that night's game. The basketball rallies brought more tradition to the school as the fight song was sung by the student body for the first time in years.
