12 Falcon Famil Forever Homecoming Week Created A Fighting Spirit For The Game Homecoming week began with the hall decorations. The Junior Class of '82 won the competition with their colorful hall based on the theme Falcon Family Fun I-louse. Throughout the week there were lunch time activities such as a pie eating con- test which was won by Robert Ram- moser. On Friday during the slave sale, Ken Redden and Locke Palumbo were sold for 311.50 The arm wrestling com- petition was decided during the rally. Kari Brewster won the women's heavy weight division while Wendy Wallace won the light weight competition. Dean Johnston won the men's light weight competition and the heavy weight victor was Jerry Frisbe. Junior Lynn Tews was awarded a tro- phy as the most consistently best dressed person during a week which fea- tured rock and roll, mafia, future, super hero, and traditional blue and white days. On Wednesday night a powder puff football game was played. The Junior- Sophomore team defeated the Senior team by a score of 6-0. Male cheer- leaders kept the crowd smiling 'through- out the game. At 4:00 p.m. homecoming evening, a line of cars left the front of the school. The parade was led by Mr. Roy Berg- stromg class floats and scores of cars decorated with paint, balloons, and streamers followed. V The floats and cars were judged prior to the parade. The senior float, A float of the future , as Senior Class Vice-Presi- dent Cindy Shearman called it, took first place. Joe Leakes' truck took the award for the best decorated automobile.
