Jim Murphy John Murphy Julie Murphy Katrina Myles is Don Naylor Nadine Nelson Carrie Nocero Phil Nordby Dana Morse Jerry Mosier George lCorkyl Mote A True Sports Lover' Sarah Rowley a junior has been interested in sports since 4th grade She has made first string for every team she ever tried out for in such sports as volleyball basketball and softball Her greatest love is basketball in which she is one of C V s strongest players playing center and would like to continue her sports career through college Her other interests include cross country water skiing football and riding motorcycles She admits having trouble keeping up her grades with all her activities especial ly since she lives in Lakehead which causes her to get home late at night Sarah says that C V s a good school and what s more special about it than other schools is that the people are more friendly and the teachers are like friends a so Sarah lives with her brother and parents and dur ing the summer they take boat trips out on the lake together spend the holidays together and she hunts with her dad Sarah who was recommended by several teachers for being outstanding in school and sports plans on attending Shasta College for 2 yrs then going on to a 4 yr University possibly majoring in Histo ry and of course continuing with sports I ! Luanne Orgamblde Busy Wlth School Actlvntles LuAnne Orgambide feels her junior year was alot harder than her sophomore year She found it difficult to keep up her 3 88 grade point average and commented Teachers like Mr Fehliman make it even harder Added to this was being yearbook editor It took time as editor that could have been spent on her other classes Her incentive to keep up her grades was sports mainly basketball which she found very important If her grades dropped so did basketball She likes C V and chose going here over Shasta High School LuAnne feels C V s special pomts are the sports program Falcon spirit the fact that the school is small and the people are friendly She also feels the teachers are not just teachers but also your friends LuAnne s school activities included bas ketball commissioner of activities vice president of CSF softball and cross country Outside of school she enjoyed water ski mg huntmg with her dad and motorcycle riding She plans to attend college right after high school at a University of California possibly Santa Barbara.
