SENIOR CLASS HISTORY 'E' Having spenf four enjoyable years af Cenfral Valley. many of us are going fo miss ifs familiar scene. As freshmen we meelcly roamed fhe halls: fhe year of '49 seemed remofe. Affer surviving fhe inifiafion, we soon became more sure of ourselves. The main evenfs of our Sophomore year were The inifiafion of fhe Freshmen and fhe Sophomore-Freshman parfy. Oufsfanding members of fhe year were: Cecil Cleveland and Eddy Ranniger. parficipafing in foofball and fraclc evenfs: Laura Smifh and Mary Thomas. who were made members of fhe Honor Sociefy. Our Junior year found us busy planning fhe Junior Prom. Our efforfs were re- warded by fhe supporf and enfhusiasm of fhe sfudenf body. Added fo our members in fhe Honor Sociefy were: Norma Abboff. Jo Ann Ruarlc. Joan Morrison, Ellen Wil- son. and Carol Conrafh. This same year Joan Morrison was elecfed presidenf of fhe Honor Sociefy. We chose Laura Smifh as our Junior Annual Edifor. We have been busier fhan ever during our Senior year. The 'rheme for fhe Senior Ball was Snowfall. and fhe hall was decorafed on fhaf idea. Our class officers 'Ihis year were: Gusf Kallas, presidenfg Herbie Mclnfosh. vice-presidenfg Jeanne Weeks. secrefary: and Jerry Karsfeffer, freasurer. Af fhe graduafion ceremony fhe girls wore whife gowns and caps, while fhe boys wore blue.
