GUMMISSIUNERS The student body officers, the Commissioners, have been busily fulfilling their duties this year. Some of these are: holding Student Body elections, solving problems which arise on campus, and regulating extra-curricular activities. The main achievement during the year was the clean-up campaign. This campaign could not have been carried out it it hadn't been for the interest taken by the students, and their co-operation with the Commissioners to keep the campus clean. Future plans are: organizing a Student Court, buying class gifts, installing a new P.A. system, and taking care of any problems which arise. EDI'l'0R'S FAREWELL Fellow Students, In these last few days of school, with the class of 58 giving its farewells to the school, it is the hope of me and the staff that this book will hold lasting memories of CENTRAL HIGH. It has been my privilege to work for two years on the LA SOLANA, and it has been an honor that I served as editor this year. It is a wonderful but bewildering thought to know that after tour wonderful years we are at the top and will soon be out on our own. Although we are leaving it is nice to know we will be 1 't d b I , . nvi e ac : to attend the highlights we know so well. I wish my fellow Seniors all the luck in the world. I know that all Seniors wish lots of luck to underclassmen, who have been our friends and class- t d ma es an who will take our place at CENTRAL in the years to come. May God help you find your way through life pleasant and happy. Sincerely yours, Roger Lechner Editor, La Solana iff wltfftw if if ,INK film N lit? lrflfllllf
