But after the election of Prank lones, vicefpresident, the eauality of sexes was restored, so everyone went happily to work. And to our surprise we found that it was fun. Our sponsors, Mrs. Miller and Senor Hatch helped keep us happy with their friendly assistance, and helpful criti- cism. All of us worked furiously on our as- BEL'A05f 0F 705 ROPE SHOR7ll6'.E sembly and April Fool's Dance, and lo and behold-SUCCESS! l I The assembly was slightly on the terrific side and our dance, La Noche para Tontosf' was completely original. Gee! lt makes you proud to have fellows like Emmett Henry, lock McQuade, and Frank lones on Varsity and lackrabbit Henry on the All-Valley team. These and plenty more fellows like them are going to do big things here- after. Looking back on this year, we Sophomores feel that we have contributed our part to Central's suc- cess in 43-44, and we are looking forward with enthusiasm to the next two years that are before us.
