Highlights of the year included the annual Dining-ln and the annual Miss ROTC Ball. Pictured on page 88 Cfrom lefty- Duane Foster, recipient of the George C. Marshall ROTC Award for outstanding leadership qualities and academic excellence in military science: Diana Pressley received an Army commission: 2LT Betty Smith Turner was guest speaker at the annual Din- ing-ln: LTC Alfred Keyes presented commissions to Gilbert Kittrell and William Dillard: Brian Cafterty won a two-year ROTC scholarship following the ROTC Ca' det Corps Award Ceremony. Duane Foster and Yvonne Ladson were also honored in the program. Page 89-Miss Karen Murphy, a junior health educa- tion major, was crowned Miss ROTC for 1980.
