Melvin Crafter, 6'5 , 188 pound senlor guardfforward from Dayton, Ohio, led the Maraud- ers In scoring 25 of 29 games finishing as the na- tion's number 8 scorer in NCAA Division ll. This past season he was The team's leading scorer ln 15 of 17 games. Melvin, a HPER major, broke two individual records in the Kentucky State University game in February-most consecutive free throws at 27 and most free throws in one game of 14. Melvin also es- tablished the following new individual one season records, most field goals at 271, most free throws of 179, free throw percentage of .869, most points of 721 and high average of 25.8 points per game.
