Meehan Islacs Mrs Mcfrlen Our second year of band work found us xuth about tw enty four members Besldes our conductor Mrs McGlen we had a yumor band conductor Delame Isaacs We have had an enloyable time thns year m our work We have not had to work very hard just hard enough to keep everyone on hrs toes We played for a few assemblnes Our year s project was attamed on Aprll 5 when we presented a band concert The money recexved from that vuth the money from last years concert sophomore classes The band was muted to attend the festrval at Camden Soon after me arrnved a parade was lea by the bands from the different schools present Preference m partnclpatlon nn thrs event was gn en to senxors and adxanced players m the jumor and wlll go 1nto a fund for umforms next year At our concert varratlon was grven to the program when Gordon Fngne and Donald Hooper tendered trumpet and French horn solos respectxvely Dlfflcult selectxons were chosen for the band to play m the May Festxval held at Fulton Duc to the newness of our band and superrorxtv of other bands of the Oswego League only four members of the band attended the May Festrval Compllmentary txckets were given to other members of the band and members of the other musvcal org mnzatxons 'I S , ' . 1 '.
