Dr. Harry Snyder Head of Department In 1934, Dr. Harry G. Snyder graduated from Washington University in St. Louis. From 1934-42, he worked in private practice. Fort Logan, Denver was the first base Dr. Snyder was stationed. After starting his military career in 1942, he took a post- graduate course and acted as assistant professor at New York University from 1950-52. Fort Belvoir in Virginia was the last place he was stationed. In July of 1966, as a retired military colonel, Dr. Harry G. Snyder assumed the position of head of the Dental Hygiene department.
