Team does Well for second year The second year of wrestling at CJHS ended with five wins and five losses for the team. uTheir potential was even greater than their record shows,U Coach Ed Maxwell said. X-country goes undefeated Steve Valverde, Ranr iro Moran, and Leon Polk, finished as top three runners in the City Meet to enable Central to win the crown. Steve Val- verdee took first place in every meet he ran during the season. He also broke many school records including the city and course records for that meet. The team also turned in per- fect scores of l5 in three meets against West, Eisenhower, North- west, Rosedale, and Arrowhead.
