Band members have busy year Some of the talented people at CJHS are play- ing in the orchestra, ad- vanced band, and inter- mediate band. The orchestra held five evening concerts. 'I'hey also performed at elementary schools, and at the Music Festival. The symphonic band which is the advanced band performed for ele- mentary schools and basketball games. They also held five evening concerts during the year. The concert band, which is intermediate band, held five eve- ning concerts during the year. The music director is Mr. Michael Williams.

Kids create yearbook, pape The journalism class was the group that worked on the monthly papers and the annual year- book. The sponsor was Miss Sharyn Ballard. The editor of the Centralian was Me- lissa Boyd and the ed- itor of the Cub was Linda Marquez. Before school be- gan in August the journalism staff worked busily sell- ing ads to finance the newspaper.
