Look from the place where you are. This statement is certainly a sensible one and one would do well to consider its admonition. Really. it one is to do anything worthwhile in the planning of a lite. it is necessary that he look about him. The large enrollments in all of the colleges and universi- ties of our nation are evidence that many have looked about them. Time and experience have proved to many that a college education is necessary if one is to live efficiently and happily. To those ot our students who have planned after looking about them. we extend our compliments and congratulations. This annual really is a record of the achievements of a large number of students on our campus. It contains too few pictures and histories of students. More students should be interested in participation in college life: for it is here that one has the opportunity to develop those traits. characteristics. and visions which make for success. To those students who have not thought it important that their achievements should be recorded in this volume. I would suggest that they look about them not only on the campus but ott campus: and I am certain they will conclude that hey should replan their college careers. My message to all students is one ot encouragement. I am positive that as you look about you you will find a ision worthy ot you. It is also hoped that you will be worthy of the vision. Achievement can come to you if you ealize that power comes from within. Our best wishes to the seniors who leave us. May lite be good to all of you. Charles L. Anspach. Ph.D..
