VVe have a record of one hundred percent in subscribing for the FLASHES and We had a good showing in selling tickets for all of the diderent school events. The secretary keeps a record of all tardies without good excuses and the un- fortunate ones are compelled to give an entertainment. We had a very nice class picnic and everything turned out very well. VVe have had a very good showingin school citizenship and scholarship. CJHS -r'-' ' The Jolly Eight C Among the many interesting things done by the 8 C home room was the first party, a Hallowe'en affair, ,planned by the program committee. It was given at the home of Alice Hansen. Everyone had a fine time. We have had a number of programs during our club periods. During the third quarter it was voted that the girls and boys each give a program. Then the class was to judge which one was the better. The losers were to give a party for the winners. The programs were given and both were very entertaining. The main feature of t.he girls' was a play showing a class composed of 8 C boys as others see them. The principle part of the boys' program was an imitation of a radio evening. In a. vote the boys and girls received the same number of votes. So it was decided to have a picnic and swimming party at the park. Our president is Thomas Tanner, vice president, VValter Davisong secretary, Jewell Pittmang and treasurer, Andrew Dithridge. P We thank Mrs. Loveland for our happy home room. We also hope we will all be happy in the 9 C next year and hlrs. During the year we have programs consisting of songs, poems, stories, plays and readings given by the students voluntarily.
