The minutes were read and approved. The discussion of poor marks with good marks was carried on. The distribution of Art Exhibit tickets went on. A self rating test was given for the good of the pupils. Beulah hlason gave a reading. A play was given which was entitled The Bouscums Go To Tovysville. v Howard Johnson played his saw and clogged which was enjoyed by all. Lockers were cleaned. The discussion of tardies was of interest to all. The nomination of differentfcommittees was had for the Silver Tea. Sixty-two cents was collected for Silver Tea decorations. Some games were enjoyed by the Whole class. Every time report cards came out Miss Seidl Went over them with us and did us much good. The discussion of behavior in assembly did everyone good. Home bean games were enjoyed. We have some good rules for study that we try to practice. An inside track meet was enjoyed by all immensely. Our home room has been a great help to the members of it. VVe are 100 per cent in FLASHES and 100 per cent. in TOXVER subscriptions. ' - cms . The 8 B home room under the direction of ltliss Helen Jones has had many interesting meetings this year, led by Dick lNIcKeon, president, first semester and Floyd Followell, president the second semester. The home room members have practiced two plays, A Near Tragedy and A hlathematical Nightmare with eleven characters. The jokes of the laughing team. Dick lNIcKeon and George Parker were greatly enjoyed, as Well as several readings and magical tricks by various members. ' A The 8 Bls led all eighth grade home rooms in the amount collected from the sale of candy for Central's radio. They had 10095, Red Cross memberships. and FLASHES subscriptions, Won five scholarship C's out of the ten given to the eighth grade and have just finished a ten weeks record of no tardies. Our teacher is Bliss Rystrom. VVe all take the F LASHES and are giving one to a seventh grade class. Wle had quite a good showing at the Silver Tea. Nineteen mothers and one father attended. Each parent and pupil signed in a register representing a heart made by Doris Egbert. Our scholarship chairman takes a record of all the pupils who receive any grades below C. The chairman also puts down on the cards all the things done inside and out of the class as tardiness, poor Work slips and all merits and demerits.
