Class officers in the eighth grade were president, Raymond Dunn, vice presidentg Sears Madsong secretary, Robert Horton, social chairman, Philp Alleng yell leaders, Keith ltlason and Stuart LaBonde. lVIost of the teachers at Central are honored with a ninth grade class. The course offered this year are Social Science, English, General Mathematics or Algebra, Art, Meclianieal Drawing, Commercial, Home Economics, Spanish, Latin and Shop. A cooking class for boys was also available. The ninth grade class sponsors or participates in nearly all school activities. The Council and Discipline Board are made up entirely of ninth year students. Foremost members of Press Club, Drama Club, Glee Clubs, and other influential clubs belong to the class of '30, Many activities have been undertaken during the year, among them have been parties, two candy sales, a wiener bake, and several other social events. The ninth grade has enjoyed a trip to Big Pines while the snow was at its best. lhiany of Centrals best athletes are ninth graders. The class of '30 has contributed to the majority of assemblies putting on several entire y. i The class of '30 has spent a successful year and' hope that future Freshies will enjoy their stay at Central. Bud Hirst leaves a perfectly good fountain pen to anyone wishing a lot of trouble. Percy Carter wills his practically new How to Play a Saxaphonen to LeRoy llliller. Albert lVIoore wills to Terry Spillman his cute ways and numerous girl friends. Irene Engleman leaves her brightness and ability to get AU to Eleanor Best. Jean Lynch leaves her flaming locks to the highest bidder. Please don't crowd. Shirley Binford leaves Howard Jolmston to some innocent little seventh grader who doesn't know any better. Tudor leaves his also. . Elizabeth Stearns might leave her spotless reputation but she thinks she'll need it next year. VVayne Rood leaves the 'sdunnnys' of the TOXVER to the next editor.
