Pep Club The Pep Club, sponsored by Mrs. Veech, was organized to give support to our football, basketball, and wrestling teams. The purpose of the International Club is to create an interest in the American Field Service with intentions of gaining appointment as ambassador from Riv- erview Gardens as a student in a foreign land one's senior year. The club must raise money for the local chapter of AFS and to do this the club had a Valen- tine dance. The programs or meetings of the club are usually film strips ofa foreign country or a speaker from a foreign country. Chess and Checkers Club The members of the CCC meet to practice skills already acquired and to learn new ones. The club's members are pictured as follow: FIRST ROW-Richard Grant, Ken Porter, Mark Arrow, Jerry Umstead, Randy Schneider, .lim Piper, Robert Hunt, and Cindy Rohlfing. Music Department Presents the On Friday and Saturduy,October 20 and 21, 1967, the Central Junior High School's Ninth Grade Mixed Chorus, Band, and Orchestra presented Band- wagon, a musical Comedy. The per- formances were received very well by several hundred persons in attendance each evening.
