The purpose of the International Club is to create an interest in the American Field Service with intentions of gaining appointment as ambassador from Riv- erview Gardens as a student in a foreign land one's senior year. The club must raise money for the local chapter of AFS and to do this the club had a Valen- tine dance. The programs or meetings of the club are usually film strips ofa foreign country or a speaker from a foreign country. Chess and Checkers Club The members of the CCC meet to practice skills already acquired and to learn new ones.
