panish Club likes fun-filled year The Spanish Club has always been one of the most active clubs at Cen- tral and this year is, definitely, no exception. They participated in their annual Christmas program, Mex- ican Independence day and a field trip to Casa de Tacos. The l976-77 Drill Team along with the cheerleaders had a change in sponsors this year. Their new spon- sor was Mrs. Elaine Holst. The Drill Team performed at the Rosedale Tournament and at Freshman games during half-time. There were 24 girls chosen for the Drill Team last year in October. . Q g ueen criesg others laugh Tears of joy, happiness and sorrow were seen Feb- ruary ll, 1971 at our ann- ual Sno-Ball Dance. Happy Lynette Kelly was crowned Sno-Ball queen while also joyful were Ty- letha Willia s Cfirst run- ner-up! and Denise Doyle Csecond runner-upl. Besides the queen and her runners-up there were six re aining attendants: Debbie Churchill, Cindy Cunniff, Gail Germany, Carrie Murphy, Ta my Sey- mour and Phyllis Yocum. The Sno-Ball Dance was held in the gymnasium.which was beautifully decorated by the art classes and all in all it was a very excit- ing and thrilling evening. The music was provided by a disc jockey named Rick. The:music and the mood were just right and they, along with the crowning of the queen and her runners- up, make our annual Sno- Ball Dance a very, big success. l. Tyletha Williams was our first runner-up for Sno- Ball queen. 2. Lynette Kel- ly was crowned queen on February ll, 1977, at our annual Sno-Ball Dance. 3. Denise Doyle was our sec- ond runner-up for queen. 4. Mr. Walter McGregor announces the attendants and queen while Mr. Arthur Hathaway gets the roses ready for our queen. 5.
