Dolores Sherman, a member of the choir, participated in the talent assembly. Two members of the championship basketball team, LeRoy Katz and David Howells, spurred the team to vice tory. Jean Heckman with the help of her classmates successfully campaigned for secretary of Student Council the first semester. Martin Gilbert, a member of Central's basketball team, helped his team- mates win the championship. Four members of the class held membership in the Order of Light. The class won the Attendance Banner twice and the Booster Banner once due to Shirley Smith's expert salesmanship in selling twenty-three library subscriptions. Eight members participated in the activities of the Central Choir. Twen ty-six Blanche Attrill, H e r b e r t Boger, Richard Boyer, Les- ter Breisch, Donald Burian, Jan Rose Cerciello. Section 9-12 You would have seen a hilarious sight if you were fortunate enough to look into room 106, section 9-12, at 3:15. Pupils were down on their hands and knees picking up all excess paper. The desk tops were revealing cleaned desks. Section'9-I2 was out to get the Home room Beautiful Banner for the third period, and they were successful. This section has eight members in the Order of Light, three of whom are Master Members. joseph Konapel- sky was a member of the varsity football squad. Twenty-eight Nancy Ziegler.
