Section 9-8 y Section 9,8 has produced many school leaders. The president of the homeroom, Thomas Roma, was vice-president of the Student Council the second semesterg co-editor of the Booster, and ninth grade class president. Three 9-8'ers, Norman Balliet, Rodney Hower, and Edwin Camp, played varsity football. Twenty-one members were active in Central's musical organizations, and five worked on the Newscaster staff. Ten members qualified for the Order of Light. Marie Csandl, secretary of Student Council and a cheerleader, was the first master member. Merrill Reinert played varsity football. Also representing Central at games were Jayne Koch, rnajoretteg Catherine Heiney and jack Krause, band members, june Kemp' played Aunt Olga in Inner Willy. The section contributed three Master Members to the Order of Light.
