You Both . . . With them and their love, trust, support and guidance, we strived to be the best class this high school and this community has ever witnessed. Without them the class of 1986 would have been just another class. It is for this reason among many more that the Treasures Staff in conjunction with the senior class proudly dedicates the 1985-86 yearbook or two very Special peeple Mrs. Gwen Thornell-Martin and Mr. Cliff Reiser. Both recipients this year are deserving ones. Mrs. Martin, an English teacher is active in school as well as out. She is the graduating class fresh- man, sophomore, andjunior class advisor, and also an active member in the P.T.S.A. She has made the once large, cold and scary halls of the Cen- tral Islip High School home to us for four years. Mr. Reiser stepped into the lives of the graduating class last year and gave us the knowledge of distinction, as a counselor he is also actively in- volved with the students, the student organization, team sports, and just having his door open at all times are just a few. He showed us where the stars were and it was up to last years junior class to reach them. Mrs. Martin and Mr. Reiser are two extremely Special peeple who not only are respected by their colleagues but by the members of the community as well. The class of 1986 and Treasures 1986 is proud and honored to dedicate this yearbook to them and have them accept. Thank you both for every- thing and much, much, more.
