Soccer In a meeting of Suffolk County Coaches at the beginning of the school year. it was decided to disband all leagues and championship competition. Wfirh no league for his soccer squad, Coach Sampson arranged a four game schedule, three games less than usual, on a home and home basis with Bayport and Bay Shore. Captained by Ray Bevel. fullback, the C. I. squad went undefeated for its four game schedule. Although three games ended in ties, rhe Purple and Gold suffered no defeats while winning one. Floyd Swaine supplied the scoring punch of the forward line as he made three goals for the year.
