SENIOR CLASS HISTORY We started our Freshman year by electing as our class officers Francis Gleason, Presi dent, Desmond 0'Connell, Vice President, Patrick Farrell, Secretary, and Mary Burke, Trea- surer Miss Cain and Mr Calhoun were our class advisors In May when the Sophomore Class decided to prove themselves superior in wit and intelligence, we proved that there were no better sports to be found than the Freshman class After a short summer vacation we found ourselves back in school starting out in our second year Ne then elected Stanley Tesoro, President, Ernest Houck, Secretarv, and James Seyfried, Treasurer Liss Cain and Lr Rogers were Class advisors During tihs year we gave a dance whlch proved to be a huge success and we also proved our superiority over the Freshman in the Get Wise assembly In our Junior year we had as our class ooficers the following people Pr sident, Ernest Houck, Vice Presldent, Thomas Shaughnessy, Secretary, Dorothy Kadlec, and Treasurer, Mary Lurphy Miss Thomas and Ir Haynes were our Class advisors We set up a record from the Junior Prom a record that will be hard to beat During Easter vacation some of us Juniors went to Washington with the Senior Class and spent an enjoyable time there In 1941 we entered into our Senior year a little saddened at the prospect of having only one more year to work under our 'Alma hater 0 We elected as our class officers, Presi dent, Thomas Shaugrnes y, Vice President, Dennis O'Keefe Secretory, Dorothy Kadlec, and Treasurer, James Hamilton Miss Sullivan was elected Class advisor We broke all records in our Magazine Campalgn and again we set future Senior Classes by our Senior Play, Yours Truly Willie ' We Stunt Night Apirl 26th and our deepest appreciation is given to all patlng and helping to make our Yearbook pos ible The Seniors held an informal dinner for the parents of each tion and the Faculty during Commencement week Thls fine affair our appreciation to our Board of Education, Faculty and our deep Iothers and Fathers Before we leave we want to thank Mr Rude, the Faculty, and a hard to beat record for held a very successful the classes for partici Senior, the Board of Educa was our attempt to show love and homage to our our Class advlsors for their friendship and guidance We'1l never forget them or the students or our four years C . 2 ' . - . .
