In 1938 we returned, not so dumb this time, just a little silly. Our class ofhcers were Walter Seale, presi- dent, Frank Miller, vice-president, Jack Hogan, secretary' oseph Fuori, treasurer. Our class advisors were Miss Hammill and Mr. Rogers. We had fun when we hazed the Freshmen but we really enjoyed ourselves when we put on a Get Wise Assembly and proved how green Freshmen could be In 1938 we came back with high expectations. Our leaders for this year were Loretta Shaughnessy, president, ohn Simms, vice-president, ean Muller, secretary and Robert Castillo, treasurer. Miss Person and Mr. Haynes were our class advisors. On une 7th we sponsored our unior Prom which will be the envy of other classes for many years to come. In 1940 we entered school as Grand Old Seniors but with the realization that this was our last year in school. We set about making it a year that will long be remembered. We elected Walter Scale as president, Vir- ginia Shaffer as vice-president,-lean Mullerassecretary and David Eisenschmied as treasurer. Miss Sullivan and Mr. Hynes were our class advisors. The magazine campaign paved our way to glory followed by the Senior Play entitled The Humdinger, which proved to be the outstanding achievement of all our four years in high school. We next undertook to have an Senior dance which was good but not as successful as the Senior Play. During the Easter vacation most of the class took that long anticipated trip to Washington. In May we again proved our originality by starting Stunt Night and walking away with all of the honors. And now as we set out on our own in the wide, wide world, we shall endeavor to make as much of a success of our future as we did of our past. 49 Wllllalll were a rav1ne mstead of a bower Bauer oe were a butterfly mstead of a Beej yel Arne w ere 1 bllster mstead of a bo1l Boyle H1Lel w ere 1 dumb dog 1nstead of 1 br1ght son Bryson lVl1ry were a thorn mstead of a Burr lee Red were a fedora mstead oi' a 4Cap pellettl Frank s Car were made of 1ron mstead of bones Carbone3 Gr11np were 1 mold mstead of a C1st lllo e1n were Flddle de dum mstead of Flddle de Dee IL Dave were a hand mstead of an Eye snschm1ed LOUISE were to saw mstead of Fell ICIOHC Dotty were a cellmg mstead of a 4I1loor31o Henry were a h1mburger 1nste1d of a Fmnle oe 1nd Tom were c1lm mst ad of In 1 fury Fuor1 V1rg1n1a were an unhappy peasant 1nstead of a gay lord Norma were a g1b glrl mstead of a G1bson3 Aleclc were 1 pleat mstead of a Gore slex Flo were 1 blue 1nste 1d of 1 Green berg St1n were an 1ceberg mstead of a Greenberg 1111 were beef mstead of H1rn 1ll H sse w1lLed 1nste1d of F ranl 1cle we re 1 shovel 1nste1d of 1 Hoe g1n N1mr1111 were 1 spolee mstead ol' a 4H11b bs e1n wer falee mstead of en u1ne ennmgs oe slept 1nste1d of K napped Helen were 1 wom1n mstead of a Mc lVl1n3 I'r1nle w ere 1 baleer mstead of a 4lVl1ller3 1n were macarom Instead of spaghetu Muller Vmce w ere a head mstead of a Nadvor neclcl Fr1n we e day mstead of 4N1ght tray Tom were 1n 1h 1nstead of an Oh 4Rourl4e Perez were do mstead of 4So3ph1e Dons w re a cow 1nstead of a P13 nataro Tony were to lxsten mstead of PISCH tell Phll were a l1ly 1nste1d of a Rose enblatt Gert we e a r1ver mstead of a Schad lake W1lter were a walrus 1nstead of a Seal e X1rg1n11 were Peps1cola mst ad of Shaffer Ioretta were 1n 1sl1nd mstead of the Shore nessy W1ll1e were 1 butcher mstead of a Shoem1lcer ohn were bo1led mstead of Sunm ered Charlle were a boy 1nstead of a Spex gellman Irene were 1 teapot 1nste d of a 4Szypot3 W1ll1e were 1 pound 1nstead of a Waddlng tonl oe were the sp1der 1nstead of the 4Web3er oe wer 1n Irxshman mstead of a Scotjt C1ss1dy were 1 telephone mstead of a 4lVl1lce lNl1ur1ce were 1 sob mstead of a lVlc Te1r3nan 4Gaylord3 IF 3. 1 ' .
