He losed the season with a 12 and 7 record. , ,,a in the fall of 1974, golf changed over from a spring sport to a fall sport. Practices were held nightly at Mayfair. The Eagle golf team, led by Senior Andy Gray ended the season with a record of 2-5 in the City Series. Seniors Dan Hagenbaugh and John Castor were aided by Juniors Bob Buchanan and Craig Shaffer and sophomores Dave Hagenbaugh and Ken Hulsey. The team, tied with North as the percentage champions, had a 7-1 win record at the end of the season. Tim Costello made All-City with his extra hard slider which broke opposite that of a curve. Jerry Russell, who received the flaming pitches, was co- captain along with Martin Perkins, who played third base. Players noted for excellent performance were Martin Perkins, Center Fielder Wesley Rudd, Right Fielder Tom Kalavity, Short Stop Mike Fluty, Second Baseman Mike Victor and Left Fielder Joe Ray.
