Groups Display Wide Members of National Honor Society were selected on the basis of character, service, leadership and scholarship. The induction ceremony on February 25 was followed by a reception honoring the students in the library. Cafeteria workers are found each day helping the cafeteria staff with the enormous job of feeding and serving you, the student body. The Stage Crew is called upon to assist with productions of plays or assemblies. Under the advisorship of Mr. Surbey, they are available whenever the need arises. Y -- Journalists Aim To Please Central-Hower's newspaper, The Forge, is published approximately once a month. This year cartoons, artwork and puzzles were included in the issues. The staff is made up of students who are interested in journalism. Mrs. Christine Nine is the new advisor. A booklet of original poems, verses, short stories, and art work written and com- posed by Central-Hower students, makes up the Anvil. The staff of this publication works hard proofreading, typing, and editing the material for publication each May. Mr. Katanic is the Anvil advisor. Quill 81 Scroll is an honorary for students involved in the publications of the Artisan, Forge, and Anvil.
