Central Cops District 26 Crown VARSITY llnder the fine eoaehing of jim llastings and ,lack Baldwin the varsity finished in a tie for the Big liight lead. ln tournament play the llistriet 20 and Regional Consolation trophies were added to Central's trophy ease. Dave Baker. Gus Kohlts. and Marsh Levinson were placed on the mythieal All-City team. The fine rebounding of Haven Hill and the ball- hawking of Duane Johnson added greatly to the squad's sur-cess. The team lost five seniors. hut all reserves were underelassmen who gained valuahle experience. JUNIOR VARSITY 'l'roy's li team 1-ompiled an impressive l2-5 ree- ord for the season. Playing hefore varsity' games the squad showed an aggressive and well-balanced type of ltall whieh they will luring to the varsity next year. The team showed their determination to win, as they never lost to the same team twiee. The squad's man- agers were vital to the team's success and helped the team run smoothly.
