MR. JEROME BEN- At least one science course was taken by each member of the student body. Biology taught us to understand the functions of living organisms. ln physics we learned how to apply accepted facts and we explored the chemical world in the laboratory. The mysteries of x's, '!.'s, lines AB, and the functions of an angle were unfolded in the classes of algebra, business arithmetic, geometry, and trigonometry. Our A Cappella choir, orchestra, and band enchanted us with their outstanding performances. To offer more help to those planning to enter music as their vocation, special lessons and a course in music fundamentals were offered. A new ultra-modern art room helped us to express our- selves through painting, sculpture, and many other media. The artists helped many organizations by handling much of their publicity through designing posters and making decorations.
