Sewing and cooking used to be feminine pursuits, but man is learn- ing such things materially ofifect his pocketbook and he is now rarin ' to learn. The growth of society depends as much upon the soil from which it grows as the vision that nourishes it. History in all its phases is taught at Central. Art appreciation as well as its mechanics is so taught at our school that many an artist has discovered his talent through Central's guidance.
