Dole of Duluth received his A. B. at Cornell College and attended the University of Iowa and Iowa State College. He teaches commercial geography and physi- ography. Virgil B. Here at Central, Miss Mortland is head of the English Department, teaches English and newswriting-advises the Spectator. 9. Elmina Adams Murphy is from Chadion, Nebraska. She attended Carleton College where she received her A. B. degree and Columbia University where she received her M. A. degree. She teaches English and is an adviser of Girls' Club. 10. Bertha M. Sellhorn is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended the Univer- sity of Minnesota where she received her B. S. degree. She teaches English and also French. 11. Winifred Sherwood from Willmar, Minnesota, attended Carleton College, where she received her A. B. degree and the University of Washington, where she received her M. A. degree.
