Administration It is with pleasure that I congratulate the Class of 1962. I regret I do not know each of you as individual students. In your years at Central High School you have been a member of a large as well as a small student body. During the six years you have been in high school, the faculty and administration has endeavored to prepare you for future life by giving to you as much knowledge as possible. This is a changing world and you are responsible to re-educate your- C. Clinton Ruby, A.B., M.Ed. Supervising Principal The efforts of many persons have been collectively aimed at assisting you in achieving your objective through curricular and co-curricular experiences in school. It is my sincere hope that we have provided a basic educational foundation upon which you may build a future for yourself and your fellow man, for it is generally conceded that education is the greatest constructive force at the disposal of democratic people for the solution of their problems. Reason and judgnionl are the qualities of a leader. self, to survive and thrive in this changing world. H. Richard Brothers, B.S., M.Ed Administrative Assistant The sages of old thundered out admonitions against prejudice, in justice, hypocrisy, cruelty, pride, greed, and hate. All of these lead nations, as well as individuals, to chaos. At the same time these sages were pleading for humility, justice, fairplay, love of God, and love of humanity. I hope your experiences at Central will help you thunder out, as the sages of old, for integrity and character to help preserve the world and civilization. William N. Craley, B.S., M.Ed. Principal You must meet the Challenge of the Sixties! Bigotry, provincialism, and ethnocentricity are indeed poor principles upon which to establish a sound pathway for your life. Rather, strive to pave the highway of your existence with the paving blocks of truth, morality, sincerity, and humility. Then the future will offer many lanes of pleasant and stimulating travel through which to map your journey. Richard E. Walters, B.A., M.Ed Assistant Principal
