As seniors we have already crossed many of these such as selecting our course of study, choosing our friends, and deciding upon our life's work. Many times we have had to choose between right and wrong, duty and pleasure, study and play. How correctly these decis- ions have been made determines the character and stature of the individual. Our teachers and parents have served as the handrails of our bridges guiding and directing us as we have cautiously ventured from one to the other. Graduation does not mean we will have no more bridges to cross. Actually they will be more numerous and even more difficult since we will be without the aid and guidance of our teachers. The knowledge and understanding we have acquired during our school years will now have to guide us. Some of us will be leaving home to attend college, living a new and different lifeg others will be entering immediately upon their lifels work. But whatever road we choose, we must remem- ber our greatest bridges are yet to be crossed and over these we must journey alone. The bridges pictured throughout this book represent those which we, along with students everywhere, have crossed and will cross in the days to come.
